Contact Newark Plumbing Co
Phones answered around the clock. For anything actively leaking, call rather than use the form — the phone is always faster.

A person answers. Not an answering service that takes a message and calls you back tomorrow.
Before you call, if you can
Two minutes of information saves a lot of time on both sides:
- Is water still moving? If yes, shut it off first — fixture stop valve for one fixture, main shutoff for anything bigger.
- Where is it? Floor, ceiling, wall, outside, or coming up through a drain. "Coming up through a drain" changes the diagnosis completely.
- When did it start? Sudden versus gradual points at different causes.
- How old is the house? Pre-1960 in Newark usually means galvanized supply and cast iron drains.
- City water or a well? Relevant if you are north or west of town.

Where we are based
We operate out of Newark and travel to you. Our office is not set up to receive customers, so please call rather than visiting — that way we can actually help you rather than being out on a job when you arrive.
Cannot call right now?
Calling is faster and it is how most people reach us. But if you are at work, you would rather not speak on the phone, or you are deaf or hard of hearing, send the details here and we will get back to you.
This is the only form on the site. Everything else points at the phone, deliberately.
Our service area
This map shows the Newark area we serve. It is not a pin on a walk-in location — we are a mobile service and come to you.
Before you get in touch
The phone, every time. Call (302) 412-1353 — it is answered 24 hours a day by a person who can start helping immediately, including walking you through shutting the water off before we are anywhere near your street.
A form submission waits for someone to read it. If water is actively causing damage, do not fill in a form.
No, and that is deliberate rather than unhelpful. We operate as a mobile service and travel to you, so the office is not set up to receive customers and there is usually nobody there to meet you.
Everything can be arranged by phone. Call rather than visiting, and we will actually be able to help.
Whether water is still moving, where it is coming from, when it started, and roughly how old the house is. If you know whether you are on city water or a private well, say so.
Those five things let us tell you what we expect to find and whether it needs someone today — often before we have quoted anything.
Questions? Just call.
A person answers and can usually tell you in a minute whether you need someone out, and roughly what it will cost.
